DDR USA Machines
To
play Single, Versus or Double, hold the yellow left and yellow right
arrows and press start. A menu will come up. With one credit, you can play
the regular number of songs (usually 3) on Single, or you can play one
song on Versus, and Double.
Two credits will allow you to play the
regular number of songs on Versus and Double. You can only choose
one of these options, they cannot be combined.
There are also a couple of modes you can
choose:

Right mode: Rotates steps 90 degrees to the right, Same dance if you face to the right |

Left mode: Rotates steps 90 degrees to the left, Same dance if you face to the left |

Shuffle mode: Random steps |

Hidden mode: Disappearing arrows!! Arrows disappear when they get 3/4 up the screen. |
|
Sudden mode: Use after putting in hidden mode, arrows appear 3/4's up the screen. |

Stealth mode: ARROWS DO NOT APPEAR @ ALL |
|
Little Mode: Only uses 1/4 beat steps. No 1/2, 1/8, or offbeat steps. |
| CANCEL MODES | To
cancel any modes, input the codes again, except for hidden and
sudden. To cancel hidden, input sudden, input stealth and then
input
to get rid of hidden. To cancel sudden, input stealth then . |
To change the color of the arrows, at the
song selection screen, input

To
Play as the 1P robot (Konsento) and the 2P frog-girl (?), at the title
screen, hold the yellow left arrow and press start.
To Play as the 1P Afro and 2P Lady, at the
title screen, hold the yellow right arrow and press start.
To play Single, Couple, Versus or Double,

You can also change the difficulty of the steps:
At the screen where you select the difficulty (easy, normal, hard) press
to
choose Another/Trick, then press
again to choose Maniac. You can go back to trick or basic by pressing .
If you choose Another/Trick, you can play Maniac by inputing at
the song selection screen.
DDR 3rd Mix Machines
To
Play 2nd Mix mode, press the yellow buttons in this order: left, left,
right and right (after depositing your coins/credits)
To Play 3rd Mix mode (don't ask
me....shouldn't it already be 3rd Mix mode?) press the yellow buttons:
left, right, and left (after depositing your coins/credits)
To play Step Step Revolution mode, press the
yellow buttons: left, left, left, right, right, right, and right (after
depositing your coins/credits). This mode allows you to play Maniac
Double.
To play Single, Couple, Versus or Double,
